We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lumber Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that lumber products are handled, processed, and distributed effectively. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to operate heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety standards. Weekend availability is a must. Hourly wage is $18-20, depending on experience.

Duties

• Receive and inspect incoming lumber shipments for quality and accuracy. 
• Accurately pick orders based on customer specifications and prepare them for shipping. 
• Load and unload lumber products using forklifts, ensuring safe handling practices. 
• Maintain organization within the warehouse by properly storing materials and keeping inventory records updated.
• Assist in building displays or setups for lumber products as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet distribution deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and performing warehouse tasks

Experience

• Familiarity with order picking processes within a warehouse distribution environment is advantageous.
• Experience operating forklifts
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems will be beneficial for this role.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
